When you start out as wedding photographer – you’re all about The Beautiful Magic Hour Light (sunset) and oh it’s so beautiful/amazing you MUST have your ceremony during that wonderful golden hour light because the photos will be ridiculously ridiculous and the most beautiful delicious and blah blah blah.
ANYTHING just don’t make me take photos in the harsh sun directly overhead! We’ll all DIE.
A few years down the line and many weddings later you’re like – what time is the ceremony? 11:30am? Outside? Okay. Whatever. Cool.
Portrait session in the middle of the day under the hot desert sun with little or no shade? Okay. Whatevs. Cool. No big deal.
You know why it’s no big deal? Because we’re paid to make it no big deal. So it’s NO BIG DEAL. And me and my team go make bags and bags full of Awesome on your wedding day.
Like it’s our jobs.
