Last Saturday we were at the High Museum for their Teen Night! We had a photobooth there + event photography. Of course – since I brought along half of the Intern Army and since it’s the High Museum – we didn’t want to do the normal photobooth setup.
They actually requested we do something more ‘Warhol-factory-inspired’. SO. We did. We setup a large grey seamless, some side lights, made everything black and white – and let the teens do what they do.
Actually – if you’ve ever seen photos of Warhol’s ‘factory’ – they’re mostly black and white, and they have a harsh, raw and side-lit feel to them. Warhol did a series of ‘screen tests’ videos and a few months ago the High Museum also asked us if we could recreate something like that experience for their ‘Family Day‘ right after Thanksgiving.

We’ve been working with the High Museum for a while now and it’s always fun to try and come up with something different.
Oh yeah – one other thing – they have CRAAAZZY Dance parties there. Those photos will be up… tomorrow.
