Maybe you have nightmares about your wedding makeup. Maybe you don’t want to look like… a clown. Maybe the thought of wearing so much makeup that you don’t look like yourself – terrifies you.
You don’t want to look at your wedding photos and find out that you look like… well… you don’t want to be unhappy with your makeup on your wedding day.
Alright – right up front – look. Use your own eyes. If you look good (or bad) with your own eyes – then trust that, and have your MUA (Make Up Artist) fix it. Seriously. Don’t believe people when they say you need to cake it on ‘for the cameras’ – because this is 2016, and a professional photographer will have a badass camera AND know how to use it. Which also means that they will photograph you properly – and your makeup will look in the photos how it looks with our eyes. You probably won’t be under stage lights all day so you don’t need stage lights amounts of makeup.
OH – and if you need a 2nd opinion – that’s what your bridesmaids and/or friends are there for. Unless those people are annoying. Basically – have people you trust, around you while you’re getting ready. Don’t have an annoying relative saying back handed comments about your makeup. Kick those people out.
You want to be happy with how you look. With your eyes. If you’re happy with your makeup – then we’ll photograph it properly and you’ll look exactly the same in your photos.
Hey. If I don’t see you on your day, have a great wedding.
