This past weekend we were at the Summer Indie Craft Experience! Leah and I were there along with +Gabriel, +Laura and most of the current Intern Army. We ran our usual photobooth and by the end of the two days we finished with just over 2,000 photos, not including the extra shots we took of the event itself.
Since we’re always testing out ideas – we were really testing out our new photobooth setup and some of our backdrops. Right now we have three (3) photobooth setups that we split among us four wedding photographers – of course we don’t only use the photobooth at weddings, pretty much any event that needs it, can have it! Plus hey – I think we’re just gonna have one always setup in our house, all the time, because um, that’s fun. You should get one too.
Wake up. Drink coffee. Photobooth.
Edit photos. Drink coffee. Photobooth.
Clean up cat vomit. Drink coffee. Photobooth.
See – it easily fits into my daily routine.
It was also pretty awesome to be right next to the King of Pops – in fact, I think it was pretty awesome for him since Leah and Me + the Intern Army probably paid for his mortgage with the number of popsicles we all ate. How many? Oh I counted, we ate 5,356 popsicles, and that was just us and the Intern Army – nevermind everyone else who attended the event.
Events like these are a nice break in between our weddings. Not only that – these types of events attract a lot of our friends – and we’ve been pretty busy lately which means we don’t really see anyone except our clients, and our Interns. As much as we like our Interns and Love our Clients – sometimes it’s nice to see our friends… even if it’s just for a few minutes at an event.
Check out the shots.
