Our super talented friend Sean took the above photo. Woohoo! He takes lots of awesome pics. That’s why I like him. Oh, yeah, and he’s a super nice guy.
Anyhow, I love how in every single picture of my walk down the aisle, I have this crazy open-mouthed expression of happy surprise. I just loved seeing everyone there… and all the cameras, man… y’all were total paparazzi. Everywhere I looked was the face of someone I love, and they were usually holding a camera. Haha. So we have a series of photos of me with this exact expression on my face. Maybe one day I’ll post them all in a row. Except that would be entirely too self-indulgent, wouldn’t it?
School started back yesterday – only two classes for the summer, though – but we’ve got to cram 15 weeks worth of work into 7 weeks, so we’ve hit the ground running and I already have a bunch of work to do. Interesting work, though, so I’m actually looking forward to it. I looove my public health class, and it’s so social work-related that I needn’t have worried about being unprepared. It’s right up my alley.
In other news, I’m volunteering at StandUp tonight and I can’t wait to see the brand new outreach center! And all the volunteers and kids I’ve missed since school and wedding stuff took over my life. Still looking for jobs, writing thank you notes, and being a happy newlywed wifey woman. My tan might be fading ever-so-slightly, though, so I would definitely like to hit up a pool this weekend. Anna? Lauren? Whose pool can I crash?
