To celebrate being finished with my first semester of grad school, I decided to swing by the Atlanta Cupcake Factory and pick up a yummy cupcake for myself. After being warmly greeted, I was asked to try some samples. Vegan cupcakes. Now, I’ve had vegan baked goods before, and I’ve only ever liked them when they were made by Anna or Arianna, because those gals know how to make vegan stuff taste good. But anywhere else I’ve gotten vegan stuff, it’s been gross. Dense, dry, and kinda funky tasting. But…hey, I’ll try anything once… so I tried the vegan cupcakes. (Oh, and I do need to add that I am a cupcake connoisseur.) And y’know what? They were fantastic! They tasted just like any of the other, delicious, non-vegan cupcakes at Atl Cupcake Factory. So I bought five! Each a different kind. (Hey, I’m gonna share with friends.)
Jessica, the Vegan Baker, was super sweet and I hope she doesn’t think it’s too strange that I asked to take her picture for our blog. I just thought the world needed to know that there are awesome vegan cupcakes on N. Highland Ave. I’m not vegan, but if more vegan food tasted this good, I sure would be!
Cupcakes make me happy. Yay.
