August isn’t over yet. It started out with me and Leah flying to Berkeley, California to photograph a wedding – and then staying out there for a week to visit some spots, and hangout with some people.
Then I flew up to Maine with Alumni Intern Jenna for another wedding – and just narrowly missed having my flight canceled due to thunderstorms up and down the east coast. (The photos in this post are from that wedding in Maine.)
After that – last Thursday – I flew up to New York city with +Raven to photograph an event put on by APracticalWedding.com – involving the marriage of two gay couples. That one kind of destroyed us since we left Atlanta at 6:30am, arrived in New York – worked the event until 1am, stopped by Times Square at 2:30am (both mine and Raven’s first time!) – and then headed right back to the airport to catch a flight at 7am. To say we were tired is… yeah we were very tired – beyond that delirious tired stage where it’s fun – and over to where you’re really just kind of very miserable. It. Was. Awesome. I have video to prove it.
Tomorrow (or today if you’r reading this on Monday) – I fly out to Dallas, Texas. To run a photobooth at a big internal company convention. I know – it’s kind of random – but it’s also kind of awesome. I mean hey – I’m being flown halfway across the country, to RUN A PHOTOBOOTH. I’ll take it.
… and then on Saturday we’re driving up to North Carolina to photograph a wedding there.
